U Non-Immigrant Visa

Obtaining a U Non-Immigrant Visa

Los Angeles Immigration Attorneys

If you were ever a victim of a crime in the United States, you may be able to obtain lawful status in the United States by submitting a U visa application to immigration with the assistance of our Los Angeles law firm. The U visa is designed to provide lawful status for four years to victims of crimes who have assisted, are assisting, or are willing to assist law enforcement in investigating or prosecuting crimes that were committed against them.

We are trained to prepare thorough U visa applications while being sensitive to the client’s traumatization from the crime. If your U visa application is approved, immigration will grant you permission to reside and work in the United States. After three years of being in a U visa status, you may apply for lawful permanent residence (“Green Card”) and eventually become a United States Citizen. Our law firm is dedicated to guide you through the process from filing the initial U visa application to applying for your citizenship.
